Explora Journeys,
quoted suite by suite

Six all-suite ships where the wine, the spa thermal area and the gratuities are already in the fare. I am a registered travel partner with direct booking engine access.

The all-suite ship that includes the bar

Explora Journeys is the luxury line from the MSC family, six ships between 2023 and 2028, every one of them all-suite and oceanfront. Explora I carries 456 suites on 14 decks with a guest to host ratio of 1.25 to 1, five pools and five whirlpools, and roughly 16,600 square meters of public space. Nothing about it feels like a big ship.

I am a registered Explora Journeys travel partner with direct access to its booking engine, which is how I can quote you a suite, a category and a date in one message.

Every journey includes

  • Nine culinary experiences, including In-Suite Dining: Emporium Marketplace, Sakura, Marble & Co. Grill, Med Yacht Club, Fil Rouge, Crema Cafe, Explora Lounge, In-Suite Dining, and the Gelateria & Creperie on Explora I and II (Shore Club on 11 on Explora III to VI). Anthology, The Chef's Kitchen, The Chef's Table and The Cellar are the extras.
  • Unlimited beverages including fine wines, champagne, premium spirits, specialty coffees, teas and soft drinks, anytime, including in-suite.
  • A welcome bottle of champagne in the suite, plus one bottle of wine and one bottle of spirit of your choice on arrival.
  • Complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the ship, by Starlink.
  • Access to the Ocean Wellness spa thermal area: steam room, hydrotherapy pool, Finnish sauna, salt cave, ice fall, heated marble loungers. Group wellness, fitness and mindfulness activities.
  • Onboard gratuities, and a shuttle from port to city centre where required and available.

The suites

Ocean Terrace Suites start at 35 square meters (377 square feet) and are the entry category and the one the interline benefit fare is usually quoted on. Ocean Penthouses run 43 to 69 square meters. Ocean Residences run 65 to 149, and the single Owner's Residence is 315 square meters with a 132 square meter terrace. Every suite has floor to ceiling windows, a private sun terrace with a dining table and loungers, a walk-in wardrobe with a seated vanity and a Dyson hair dryer, heated bathroom floors, an espresso machine, a mini bar restocked to your preference and a pair of binoculars. Penthouses and Residences add early dining reservations, laundry, an in-suite bar and, for Residences, transfers. Eighty suites connect, 97 can be set up with twin beds, and 49 have bathtubs.

Airline employees: the interline benefit

Explora publishes an interline benefit fare per person, double occupancy, by suite category. It appears as a promotion in Explora's travel partner booking engine and on a daily pricing report that lands in my host agency's inbox. Everything included in the public fare is included in the interline fare. I check the engine on the day I quote, because the report is only good for the day it was issued. How interline rates work.

Holds and deposits

Explora lets me hold a suite without payment: 5 days when the sailing is more than 120 days away, 3 days at 31 to 120 days, and 1 day inside 30 days. That is enough time to compare dates without losing the suite. Deposit and payment terms are Explora's and I confirm them on your quote.

Straight answers

Is Explora Journeys all inclusive?

Drinks are included, which is the big one: fine wines, champagne, premium spirits, specialty coffee, soft drinks, anytime, including in your suite. Nine dining venues, WiFi, the spa thermal area, group fitness and gratuities are included too. Shore excursions, spa treatments and the four specialty venues (Anthology, Chef's Kitchen, Chef's Table, The Cellar) are extra.

How big are the suites?

Ocean Terrace Suites start at 35 square meters, about 377 square feet, with a private terrace. Penthouses run 43 to 69 square meters, Residences 65 to 149, and the Owner's Residence is 315 square meters. Explora says its suites are among the most spacious in the category.

Are children allowed?

Yes. Explora is not adults only. Most suites take two adults and two children under 18 with a sofa bed or cot, and there are 80 connecting suites. The Helios pool on deck 12 is adults only.

Do airline employees get a discount on Explora?

Yes. Explora offers an interline benefit fare per person by suite category, and everything in the public fare is included. I search it directly in Explora's travel partner booking engine and quote it against the public fare for the same suite.

Can you hold a suite while I decide?

Yes. Explora's option periods are 5 days for sailings more than 120 days out, 3 days at 31 to 120 days, and 1 day inside 30 days, with no payment to hold.

Which ships are sailing now?

Explora I entered service in 2023 and Explora II in 2024. Explora III arrives in 2026, IV and V in 2027 and VI in 2028, according to Explora's ship guide.
